Project Description
The Club donated – the following items for the Flood Rescue Relief Operations :
body bags (370pcs);
LED solar light (350 pcs) and
Oxygen Cylinders
These Oxygen Cylinders, Body Bags and LED lights were donated for emergency and rapid relief and rescue purposes for the flood inflicted areas. They were donated in coordination with the Kathmandu CDO and Nepal Army.
Past Treasurer Rtn. Shreejesh Ghimire coordinated the procurement of the lights and the cylinders while President Sailesh and Admin Chair BG. Prayog SJB Rana helped manage the delivery of the body bags.
All the goods were rapidly used during the Rescue / relief period. A disaster committee has been formed thereafter to conduct further relief and rescue works.
