Project Description
The Rotary Club of Yala, in technical collaboration with Women in Information Technology (WIIT) and with the support of Nepal Telecom and Ward Office No. 6, Lalitpur, successfully completed Rotary Digital Literacy Program for women of the ward on 19th September 2026
The training was specially designed for the Misa Pucha women’s group, focusing on practical digital skills to help participants confidently use digital technologies in their everyday lives.
The program covered essential areas such as smartphone use, digital services, online communication, internet safety, cybersecurity awareness, and responsible use of digital platforms.
Through this initiative, Rotary Club of Yala aims to bridge the digital gap among women and promote greater digital inclusion, confidence, safety, and access to technology at the community level.
The program reflects the shared commitment of Rotary Club of Yala, WIIT, Nepal Telecom and Ward Office No. 6 toward building a digitally empowered and inclusive community.
